James and Laura are Married!

Here's a wedding that I actually photographed last October.. but am just now blogging... (yes, I delivered the images a long time ago!)
While I am always honored to photograph someone's wedding, when I am doing it for another photographer that feeling is even heightened. So when my friend Lisa asked me to help out with her sister's wedding last October, I was both excited and humbled. Lisa would have photographed it herself.. but it's kind of hard to be a bridesmaid and a photographer at the same time :) So I was glad to help out!
Laura and James's wedding was just gorgeous.. it was held at the Highland Manor, over in Apopka. I think that is one of my favorite venues!

This one makes me smile :)

Lisa and Laura getting ready.. wonder how many times they sat like this while they were growing up?

Laura and James decided to see each other before the ceremony. That way, we were sure to have time to get some good photos of just the two of them.

This little girl kept running up to me so that I would take her picture :)

Lisa's twin boys were the ring bearers.. how cute are they?!

Congratulations you two!

A Sweet Surprise

This evening I received an email from Kacie, one of my sweet brides. She told me in the email that she had left a review for me on WeddingChannel.com, so out of curiosity I went to check it out. And I was completely surprised when I got there to find not one but two reviews! The other was left by Lauren, another of my fabulous brides. I was so excited to see the reviews, so I thought I'd share them here. I am so blessed to get to work with the most amazing couples!

Congratulations Tyler and Sam!

Tyler and Sam's wedding was definitely up there on my list of favorite weddings. For one, they are a super fun, funny, beautiful, and laid back couple. Does it get any better than that? Two, Sam had done an amazing job putting everything together - not only did she choose some fabulous vendors, but she did it from her home in California! The wedding and reception were held at the beautiful Highland Manor in Apopka. If any of you are looking for a unique place to get married, check it out! Party Flavors did their cake, Special Touches by Deb did an amazing job on the flowers, and White Rose Productions kept the party going. Be sure to check them all out!
I hope you enjoy the photos, and the slideshow at the end.

I thought Sam was stunning!

They chose to see each other before the ceremony so that we could get some photos out of the way, and it really made the day flow well.

This shot makes me smile - that is Tyler putting Sam's Dad's tie on :)

Their wedding party was a lot of fun, to say the least. Tyler played football, so most of his groomsmen were teammates. And Sam played volleyball, so most of her bridesmaids were teammates as well. Let's just say that I felt short! :)

I think this kid was trying to take my job :)

And the slideshow...
Congratulations you two! Thank you for the honor of documenting your day!
