Congratulations Whitaker and Heather!

All summer long I looked forward to shooting Whitaker and Heather's wedding. Just two months earlier I had photographed Heather's sister Jennifer's wedding, so I couldn't wait to work with such a fun family again! And this wedding did not disappoint. It was very different than Jennifer and Brad's - though they are sisters their style isn't the same. But everything was beautiful, and it was a perfect day :)

Ceremony: Riverside Park United Methodist Church
Reception: Florida Yacht Club
Flowers: Island Flower and Garden

I loved her shoes - but this was not an easy shot to get! I am not as tall as a chandelier...

Thanks to the fabulous Corinna for assisting me, and for getting this next shot! :)
They didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, so we did this shot instead.
LOVE the sweet tears ;)

If you've followed my blog for long, these two will look familiar. I photographed Bray and Leslie's wedding back in 2009 in Hilton Head, SC. Leslie and Heather were friends in college. And I am excited that I will be seeing them again soon - Leslie is expecting their first baby, so we'll be doing some maternity photos! :)
And these two, Jennifer and Brad, should also look familiar. Two months after their wedding and they're still smiling :)
I grew up in Jacksonville, so I always love coming back for weddings. Just seeing the skyline makes me smile :)

And here's the slideshow!

Congratulations Ryan and Lindsey!

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of heading up to Jacksonville for Ryan and Linsey's wedding. Their wedding and reception were held at the brand new welcome center for the little town of Nocatee. I was really impressed - I think the room that the reception was in was one of the prettiest I've seen. But the wedding was especially fun as it was something of a "family affair" - the flowers were done by none other than my step-mom Sherrie and sister Jessica from From The Heart Flowers and Gifts. They did a beautiful job! And the entertainment was provided by Jonathan with Feedback Entertainment.

I accidentally caught myself in this one.. but I guess it's an accurate picture of the day!

A hug for Aiden, Lindsey's son

The new family

Isn't the room really pretty?

Congratulations you two!
