A Fun Family Session

While I was over in St. Pete this weekend (more on that later!) I had the opportunity to take a few pictures of one of my cousins, her husband, and their new little baby. She and her husband had been trying to have a baby for quite some time, but with no luck. So they had completed the process to adopt a baby, and were just waiting for a birth mother to pick them. But knowing that we were going to be in town at the same time I was, she contacted me awhile back and asked me to take some pictures of the two of them while we were all in town. They didn't really have very many, since their wedding photographer had lost their pictures and they hadn't had any done since then! Of course I agreed... and then, all of a sudden, they got the call that a baby had been born and the mother had chosen them! Two days later they got to pick their brand new baby boy up at the hospital. So our photo session was even more fun and special than originally planned, as now it included a much-wanted, precious little baby. It was so fun to meet him! And he was such a good sport - despite the freezing cold wind, he hardly so much as whimpered. I am so excited for this new family - it was so good to see you both, and to meet your little guy! Congratulations!!

Grandma and Grandpa came along for some pictures with their first grandson.
