Congratulations Matt and Lauren: An Orlando Wedding

From the moment I met Matt and Lauren, I knew their wedding was going to be a fun one. And they did not disappoint! Their wedding was held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with the reception at the Orlando History Center - which was a really neat, unique venue. Julie with Something Borrowed events did a fabulous job running the show.

I love this shot of Matt moments before the ceremony...

And this one of Lauren's Dad. The look on his face as he watches his oldest daughter get married is priceless!

A toast to celebrate

Their wedding party was hysterical ;)

I love the tree in the background.. it makes me think of fall!

Before the reception we headed to Wall Street, which is one of their favorite places to hang out.

We even got to go into a bar area where there weren't any other customers.

Then it was off to the reception. Each table was named for a different bar in Orlando, and that is the groom's cake on the bottom left!

The toasts were incredible. One of the groomsmen really got into the act!

And Matt's best man gave everyone the option of a fun or a serious version... they went with the fun one :)

There was no doubt in my mind what I was going to do for the ring shot. The bartender definitely gave me a strange look, though, when I asked for 3 beers! I had to assure her that I wasn't going to be drinking them!

This picture just makes me laugh. I think I make the same face as Lauren when I am feeding Anna!

They put on quite a show for the garter. Laurem came out with her boa, a beer, and a cigarette. Matt put on the hat, then went in for the garter.. but came out with a cigarette instead. So he went back in, but this time came out with a flask! Finally he was able to get to the garter.

After he had thrown it and Lauren had tossed the bouquet (to her sister), the dj had the lucky one put the garter on Chelsea. I love this because of the hand on the left side - her dad! However, the lucky young man is actually Chelsea's fiance. And they have asked me to photograph their wedding in 2012! I can't wait to hang out with this group again!

Congratulations you two! Thank you for letting me be a part of your party ;)

beautiful photos as always, did you use a lensbaby muse in a couple of these shots? how do you like working with it? i saw some tutorials on youtube on them and they look really neat. im looking into two new lenses more for portraits, the canon 50mm f/1.4 and the canon 28mm f/1.8 wide angle, do you use anything similar and how do you like them, or would you recommend didn't lenses for portraits. thank you.

Hey Michelle, thanks so much. I actually didn't use a lensbaby, it was the 100 mm tilt-shift lens (which I love). As for the portraits, I use the 50 mm f/1.4 a lot. I don't know about the 28, as I have the 24, but I am sure it is a good one.
